Front-end Developer

Primary job responsibilities
– Develop new user-facing features
– Build reusable code and libraries for future use – Ensure the technical feasibility of UI and UX designs
– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
– Assure that all user input is validated before submitting it backend
– Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

– Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
– Basic understanding of server-side CSS preprocessing platforms like LESS and SASS
– Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
– Proficient understanding of development tools like Git and webpack
– Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications will adhere to them
– Experience with agile development and open source projects
– Experience with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks like React.js, AngularJS, Knockout.js, Backbone.js, Durandal, etc
– Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
– Basic understanding of server-side CSS preprocessing platforms like LESS and SASS
